PSST: YOUR HAND-HOLDING SITCH REVEALS A LOT ABOUT YOUR RELATIONSHIP...

Whether you realize it or not, holding hands with someone is actually kind of a big deal. It's most people's introduction to PDA (and, let's be honest, it's a lot less nerve-wracking than a kiss). It's an easy way to show someone you're totally into them in a gesture that's casual while still being incredibly romantic.

But not all hand-holding is created equal. Decoding the way you hold hands can reveal *exactly what's up with you and bae. They could be sending you a message with their mitts. Seriously.

THE TIGHTLY INTERLACED FINGERS

This is probably the most common of all the hand-holding positions, and it means your crush is totally comfortable around you. So if they're going for this, it means they aren't anxious about the idea of PDA (or the potential for hand sweat). The interlaced fingers mean you're really vibing as a couple. You're close and you understand each other. Relationship-wise, you're in a really good spot. Lucky you!

BONUS: Is your thumb on top-or theirs? If your thumb is on top of theirs in this position, it means you like to make the decisions in the relationship, which is awesome. If theirs is on top, it means they are down to take the lead, too.
