Aquí hay uno: un día, salí de una reunión de trabajo, tomé mi celular y vi 85, oh, espera, 92 nuevos mensajes en el chat grupal. Mis amigas y yo estábamos a punto de pasar un fin de semana en Boston. Y bueno, este fue el infierno que significó planear aquel viaje con mi squad (o cena, o fiesta, o brunch, o clase de fitness).
Whitney preguntaba si saldríamos o nos quedaríamos el viernes por la noche. Lilly nos recordaba que empacáramos algo verde y también los planes de happy hour: "¿Qué tan pobres queremos ser realmente después de tomar mimosas malas?". Ni siquiera recuerdo cuántos mensajes 1:1 en Gchat respondí para cuando regresé a mi escritorio. En Snapchat, dos amigas que no irían estaban (OMG) demasiado tristes. Rápido les mandé un: "¡Ojalá las dos pudieran estar ahí!", selfie de cara triste antes de revisar Instagram, donde Whitney ya había mandado por DM un bar a donde íbamos a ir. Y contesté ¡superemocionada! Algunos podrían llamar a esto agotador. Para la mayoría de nosotras es solo nuestra gran amistad.
