BOK GETS THE BOOT

SHE insists she was with her family when their alleged hotel tryst was supposed to have taken place. He maintains he didn't cheat on his wife but admits he "didn't do the Springbok jersey proud".

Meanwhile, his wife finds it only too easy to believe he'd taken this "family friend" to his guesthouse room for something other than professional conversation.

Accusations, allegations, and recriminations have flowed thick and fast since a Sunday newspaper reported rugby star Elton Jantjies had a steamy affair with Springbok team dietician Zeenat Simjee.

We take a closer look at the ongoing drama the former Springbok is caught up in.

THE GUESTHOUSE BASH

Elton's latest problems started after he recently booked a luxurious guesthouse and left without paying the R26 000 bill. The owners then complained to the South African Rugby Union.

It emerged that some of the money had been spent on bubbly and flowers that included a note in which the Springbok flyhalf confessed his love for Zeenat, according to Rapport newspaper.

Elton had booked the fancy guesthouse in Mbombela, Mpumalanga, ahead of the recent Bok match against New Zealand. He was accompanied by Zeenat, and guests complained that the pair were making loud noises and breaking furniture in their room throughout the night and into the early hours.

IVA JANTJIES REACTS

and her husband have been having marital problems for some time now, Iva Jantjies (33) tells YOU.

Elton (32) isn't aware of how his choices affect his behaviour and decision-making, she adds.

They met online in 2011 and forged a friendship that blossomed into a relationship. Three years later, they met in person and the chemistry between the South African-born brunette and the Bok was undeniable.
