Pearse Egan grew up in Ireland with his single mum, Ann, who’d met Pearse’s dad, Eddie Santos, as a teen while working in New York.
When she became pregnant, she moved back home to Dublin and she and Eddie lost touch. But Pearse found it difficult not having his father in his life, and was delighted when the Long Lost Family team reunited him with Eddie in 2018.
