THE GOLD

LAST ONE SUN, 9PM, BBC1 DRAMA

The dogged detectives investigating the Brink’s-Mat robbery in BBC1’s The Gold have faced numerous frustrations in their mission to find the bullion and the thieves.

Now, as the true-crime drama concludes, Tony Brightwell (played by Emun Elliott), Nicki Jennings (Charlotte Spencer) and boss Brian Boyce (Hugh Bonneville) have money launderer Edwyn Cooper (Dominic Cooper) in custody, but getting him to talk proves tricky. Meanwhile, fence Kenneth Noye (Jack Lowden) and gold merchant John Palmer (Tom Cullen) face trial…

In an exclusive interview, Emun, 39, gives TV Times his take on the finale – and the potential for a second series…
