NEW COMEDY DRAMA
Irma Vep
Tuesday, 9pm, Sky Atlantic (box set, Sky Box Sets/NOW)
Twenty-five years after the release of his classic indie movie Irma Vep, French writer-director Olivier Assayas brings the story of the eponymous villainess to our screens once again – this time, in an eight-episode biting satire starring Oscar-winner Alicia Vikander.
The series follows Hollywood A-lister Mira Harberg (Vikander), who’s bored of the superhero blockbusters that made her a household name and flees to Paris to redefine her career with a remake of 1915 French noir Les Vampires.
