Thirteen Lives
NEW Available: Friday 5 August Genre: Drama
As the director of Apollo 13, Ron Howard is no stranger to bringing incredible true-life stories to the screen and few could be more remarkable than the Thailand cave rescue.
Howard’s new film Thirteen Lives dramatises the successful rescue of 12 boys and their football coach from a flooded cave in the Chiang Rai province in the summer of 2018.
The drama begins when the boys and their coach go into the cave after a soccer training session. But unexpected monsoon rains block their exit, leaving them trapped as the water rises.
