Growing up in gangtok, sikkim, singer-songwriter Aabishkar Thatal’s first exposure to music was through his father’s collection of English, Hindi and Nepali songs played on road trips. At the age of 11, Thatal picked up the piano and soon began writing his own songs during his teen years. He says, “Writing songs also comes from my love and appreciation of literature and poetry.”
Now, Thatal is out with his third single, the delicate yet harmonious “Nau Daanda Paari,” the first glimpse into his upcoming EP Hiunda.
