"Sometimes, a detour can lead to adventures you never even imagined," exclaims Simran Savlani, cookbook author, and founder of Spark Sauces. Ever since she was a young girl, this restaurant management graduate from Le Cordon Bleu, Paris, only had one goal, "I wanted to open restaurants. I wasn't keen on being a chef as I don't have the patience or acumen for working in the kitchen, but I get such joy from feeding people and seeing them bond over food." After graduation, Simran got the opportunity to work as a restaurant consultant in different parts of the world like Jakarta, Hong Kong, Lagos and Mumbai.
