Born into showbusiness royalty, Riley Keough’s name was always destined to be up in bright lights. And now the 34-year-old actress has finally been given the keys to the castle too.

The granddaughter of the legendary singer, Elvis Presley, has confirmed she has taken over as the sole custodian of Graceland. This came after a legal battle with her grandmother Priscilla Presley, following the sudden death of her mother Lisa Marie in January at the age of 54.

“Everything felt like the carpet had been ripped out and the floor had melted from under us,” Keough tells Vanity Fair in a new interview for their September issue of when her mother died. “Everyone was in a bit of a panic to understand how we move forward, and it just took a minute to understand the details of the situation, because it’s complicated. We are a family, but there’s also a huge business side of our family.”
