Anne Heche FIGHT FOR HER LIFE

Actress Anne Heche was driving her blue Mini Cooper in Los Angeles on August 5 when a witness told TMZ, she crashed into a garage of an apartment complex before reversing and speeding off. Soon after, she collided into a home, causing it to catch fire. "She just peeled through [a stop sign]," another witness told People. "I was like, 'Oh my God, that person's going to kill somebody."" The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the call around 10.56 am and, according to a press release, it took 59 firefighters about 65 minutes to extinguish A the flames and extract Heche from the driver's seat. "Shortly after the accident, Anne Heche became unconscious, slipping into a coma," her spokesperson shared at the time of print. The spokesperson added Heche requires life-saving surgical intervention and mechanical ventilation for a “significant” pulmonary injury. “I was positive the driver was dead,” neighbour Dave Manpearl told Daily Mail. “I was surprised to find out it was Anne Heche. I think I knew she had problems in the past.”
