When it comes to pinpointing what it is about rising star Nicholas Galitzine that’s attracting the attention of a growing number of fans –and casting agents – his current co-star Anne Hathaway sums it up perfectly.
“Nick could have chemistry with a lamp,” Hathaway, 41, told The Washington Post while promoting their rom-com The Idea of You. “He’s so easy to connect with.”
The Oscar-winner says from the moment Galitzine walked into the audition she knew they had found the movie’s Hayes Campbell, the 24-year-old famous lead singer of a boy band who falls in love with Hathaway’s Solène, a 40-year-old single mum. The film’s director Michael Showalter knew it too.
