AS THEY CELEBRATE THEIR 26TH ANNIVERSARY, SARAH JESSICA PARKER AND MATTHEW BRODERICK SHARE WHAT KEEPS THEM GOING STRONG

THEY are that rarity in Hollywood — a couple that has stayed together for decades. And on their 26th wedding anniversary, Sarah Jessica Parker had a sweet message for her husband, Matthew Broderick. “Happy 26th anniversary my husband,” she captioned a photo of a cork from a bottle of bubbly on Instagram. “That sure was a nice celebration and a real nice bottle of champagne. And a gorgeous walk home. Oh the miles we have strolled together. I love you.”

Carrie Bradshaw may be constantly on the search for romance, but SJP stopped looking long ago. After a six-year relationship with Robert Downey Jr. and a brief romance with John F. Kennedy Jr., the 58-year-old met her match at 26. “He’s probably the funniest fellow I’ve met in my whole life,” she said before their 1997 wedding. “He’s so bright, so handsome. I think he’s the most handsome man I’ve seen in my life. And he inspires me. I’m mad for him, totally.”
