COUNTRY star Luke Bryan and his wife Caroline’s sweet posts to each other celebrating their wedding anniversary Dec. 8 said it all. “16 years ago we had zero clue what we were stepping into,” Caroline wrote. “The good, the bad, the silly moments and stupid arguments. It’s been worth it all.” As if to prove her point, Luke, 46, posted a snap of himself in shades and a mullet with his arm wrapped around his 42-year-old wife, writing, “Thank you for putting up with all my craziness I throw your way. I’ve loved you since the second I saw you. It’s truly remarkable what we’ve done together.”

From breakups and make-ups, lean early years, triumphs and unthinkable tragedies, Luke and Caroline have persevered. “They could write the book on marriage and how to keep it from imploding,” an insider tells Star. “They’ve thought long and hard about their lives and concluded they’re in this together.”
