You’d be hard pushed to find a couple more friendly than reality star Charlotte Dawson and her fiancé, rugby player Matt Sarsfield, 31. Within minutes of us arriving at their new Lancashire home, they make us feel welcome, taking us on a guided tour before revealing their exciting news – they’re 17 weeks’ pregnant with their second child!
As they juggle getting their hair and make-up done for our shoot with getting their two-year-old son Noah to nursery, it’s clear how delighted they are to be expanding their family.
“I can’t believe it’s actually happened again and Noah is going to be a big brother,” 30-year-old Charlotte gushes, before telling us she’d been just about to tuck into a takeaway when she discovered she was expecting again. “I hadn’t even eaten my chippy,” she laughs.
The couple were initially wary about sharing their big announcement after Charlotte’s heartbreaking miscarriage at 10 weeks in April 2022. “I wanted to scream and tell everybody, ring my mum and all my friends, but we couldn’t really get excited enough because of what happened last time,” she admits.
But here, Charlotte, daughter of beloved late comedian Les Dawson, opens up and tells us all about her rainbow baby, her Coachella baby shower plans and how Noah reacted when he found out he’s going to be a big brother…
Congratulations on your pregnancy, Charlotte! How far along are you?
