Jennifer Lopez has repeatedly gushed about how grateful she was to get a “second chance at true love” with Ben Affleck. In 2021, he proposed 18 years after they ended their previous engagement, and last July, they eloped to Las Vegas before throwing a big formal wedding for friends and family a few weeks later. Ben was clearly just as thrilled as his new bride about their rekindled romance, telling J. Lo in the wedding speech he gave at their Georgia nuptials in August, “This is heaven. Right Here. We’re in it now.”

But it turns out hell was right around the corner. Just seven months after what J. Lo called “the best possible wedding we could have imagined,” her and Ben’s “marriage is floundering,” claims a source who says the frustrated singer-actress has repeatedly been left in tears as they navigate this rocky period. “The excitement of being newlyweds has disappeared, and they’ve been fighting nonstop.”

Though Ben has publicly branded his second wife “innately, magically kind and good and full of love,” privately “he feels like J. Lo can be a nightmare — and now he’s wondering if he moved too fast,” adds the source. “J. It’s no secret that J. Lo, 53, has high standards. “She’s high-maintenance,” the source says bluntly, and Ben, 50, “is getting fed up with her constant nagging and diva demands to the point that they’ve spent nights apart.”
