The Bolt 4 Carbon is the culmination of four generations of refinement, designed to provide an unparalleled racing experience paired with open ocean comfort.
DEVELOPMENT
We knew it wouldn’t be easy as the previous version was loved by everyone who stepped on it, but we also knew that we were ready for the next version. A new Bolt would benefit from all that we have been learning across the rest of our lines. We just needed it to raise the bar of what a Freerace & Foilboard from today can be.
GOAL
It had to be faster, more comfortable, provide easier planing gybes, and ideally, packed in a smaller, sportier outline. The next was integrating features such as the recessed deck with a more comfortable standing and riding footstrap position, bringing more balance from nose to tail and along the rail line. Lastly, we are introducing our KT Foiling aerodynamic nose, a new benchmark for high-speed sailing and foiling.
