BOO!

There are few things Tiana Ford loves more than Halloween, but her new puppy is definitely one of them.

Her dad let her adopt a Jack Russell Terrier mix right before school started in September. It hadn't taken her long to decide on his name, Воо - a nod to her favorite day of the year.

Tiana is the sort of person who started planning for this Halloween on November 1st of last year. She made her dad take her to the store to buy decorations, pajamas and graphic tees at half-price. She started watching Halloween movies and listening to spooky playlists when most of her friends were still hitting up the beach. She took sewing lessons when she was younger just so she could sew her own costumes every year.

Tiana'd put the finishing touches on her Wednesday Addams costume back in July, and she couldn't wait to wear it. She was pretty devastated when Boo made it clear he wasn't nearly as excited about the ghost costume she'd made him.

"I don't know what to do, Dad," Tiana rested her head on his shoulder after falling into the seat next to him on the couch. "Boo doesn't seem into wearing a costume." She felt her father laugh. "I think that's an understatement, sweetie." "Dad!" "Just calling it like I see it," he held his hands up. "As soon as you dropped that ghost costume on him, he started tearing it apart." "Yeah, he tore it off so fast. It was almost impressive," Tiana admitted begrudgingly.

"That's how Hannah the trainer describes him, too," her dad chuckled. "Just kidding, she says your dog is one of the worst behaved pets she's ever worked with and he's going to require lots of one-on-one training." "What can I say?" Tiana spoke in a posh accent. "We Fords have a flair for the dramatic, and I've taught him everything I know."
