Travel bug? Wanderlust? Itchy feet? Just book your tickets and..... Go!

Solo Travel For Women

Planning your vacation can be an exhausting task and it starts right from booking your ticket to preparing your itinerary list but I was wondering if I could be of some help with the age-old question “Do I book with a travel agency or do I book online?” You have already spent hours online and are sick to death of sitting in front of the computer, right? But you have also heard stories of how travel agents make pathetic fools out of people ! So you are sitting plonk on the horns of a dilemma and wondering which way to go! Ah, so here are a few pointers which I guess could be of your assistance.

The bottom line is that both buying travel online and using travel agents have advantages and disadvantages. Which is better depends on you and your travelling needs. Booking travel online has the convenience that you can do it at any time of the day or night. Besides, if you're good at it, you might nail exactly what you want. But not all travel planning is created equal. Booking a flight to your friend's wedding is easy compared to booking a three-week trek through seven countries in Africa! If you’re not sure what the best choice is, I’ll enumerate the pros and cons of using a travel an agent first, and then those of online booking – check them out.

Before you travel to any destination, I’m sure you’d like to have a fair idea of the place, the costs in your destination at the style of travel you want, the major activities you want to enjoy and how much they cost, museum passes, hotel discounts, transportation deals, etc. and an approximate estimate of how much money you will need. After all, some trips are scrimped and saved for, and others can be spontaneous and exciting.
