How'd you find our recipe?
I discovered it in my mother's recipe folder. My dad was in sales, and they entertained clients. This was her go-to because it's fancy-not just from the back of an oatmeal box.
What makes this meatloaf so delicious?
It's the combination of the meats and thyme and marjoram. Also, the cream sauce! My trick: I always plate it with fresh thyme.
When do you serve it?
My daughter Lindsey first chose meatloaf for her birthday dinner when she was 8. I started making it more often; in fact, the first time she had a boy over for dinner, this was what I made!
