The former Bond girl talks about the importance of staying positive and the secrets to looking good in her seventies
Jane Seymour ‘I DIED & CAME BACK TO LIFE'
From her breakout role as Solitaire in 1973's Live And Let Die to playing the lead in classic '90s TV series Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, actress Jane Seymour has been an icon for more than six decades. Now starring in the Aussie movie Ruby's Choice, the 71-year-old opens up to Woman's Day about mental resilience, her relationship with bestie Olivia Newton-John, and the secrets behind her famous bikini body.

What can you tell us about Ruby’s Choice?

I play the matriarch of the family, Ruby, who – after being diagnosed with dementia – has to move in with her family. The beautiful story arc sees them dealing with someone who is on the decline with dementia and Alzheimer’s.

Why is highlighting dementia so important right now?

Dementia is one of the biggest killers of women in the world. Statistically, if you live after 65 or 70, one of two of us will have it and there is no known cure! So it’s unfortunately going to impact most of us in some way.

How have you been maintaining your mental health in these tricky pandemic times?
