ANDRE AGASSI
The American fan favourite had a huge presence at the Australian Open, winning the tournament four times. After a distinguished career Andre retired in 2006, and he and his second wife, fellow tennis great SteffiGraf, settled in his hometown of Las Vegas. The 51-year-old now devotes most of his time to the Andre Agassi Foundation, which is dedicated to transforming public education for underprivileged children. He and Steffihave two children, son Jaden, 20, and daughter Jaz, 18.

The German sportswoman was adored by Aussie crowds. She won four Australian Opens, the last in 1994. Since retiring, Steffihas enjoyed life out of the relentless spotlight that took its toll on her privacy when she was the biggest female sports star in the world. After spending much of the 1990s in a relationship with race car driver Michael Bartels, Steffihooked up with Andre Agassi, whom she married in 2001. The couple are involved in several business ventures and are ambassadors for the Swiss watchmaker Longines.
