After yet another extraordinary week in the Megxit saga, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex snuck out of Canada before its borders were closed, despite the couple insisting they would make their home in the Commonwealth country.

For months, they steadfastly ignored reports that Canada was just a lily pad before they leapfrogged towards Meghan’s real goal – living in Hollywood.

But that’s exactly what happened after their rushed journey on a private jet into LA, with their 10-month-old son Archie in tow.

And now, say sources, the palace is worried 38-year-old Meghan’s real scheming will begin.

“You can’t tell me that this wasn’t her plan all along, to bring her boys to America so she could live the celebrity life she’d always dreamed of,” says our insider. “It all makes sense now why she was so uninterested in getting a British visa and was dead against giving Archie a royal title. But the scary thing is she now has Harry right where she wants him – isolated from his family in a country where she holds all the cards in terms of legal rights.”
