No ‘It’s time for us to stop living in fear’

Since the beginning of lockdown in March last year, the wearing of face masks has continued to be a hot topic in my support group, Mums V Anxiety. Like me, my clients share the opinion that wearing one after the government has deemed it safe enough to not have to, may do more harm than good.

For some, covering the mouth and nose can affect breathing and induce feelings of panic, suffocation and claustrophobia. But I believe the most detrimental impact is that to mental health.
