The cringeworthy Christmas jumper traditionally knitted by your nan, that you’d wear all day out of sheer politeness, has now turned into mass consumerism. They’re typically made from very poor quality, synthetic fabric, so they don’t tend to feel good on the skin, and as a personal stylist, I struggle to understand why anyone would want to spend money on an item of clothing that doesn’t make them look good.
