The Duke of Sussex may have won ‘substantial’ damages from a newspaper for ‘baselessly’ questioning his commitment to the armed forces. But the judge refused to award his costs, meaning Harry will have to foot a bill of more than £30k.

Meanwhile, the prince faces a bigger battle to save his official links with the military after plans to ‘review’ the former soldier’s royal status were put on hold. A warning sign, perhaps, that the increasingly litigious Sussexes can’t always expect things to go their way.
