Strength can mean something different to each person. Her only solace came through her training and some inspiring words from a well-known name in the fitness industry, Lindy Olsen. Now Lisa is proving to herself (and to the world) just how strong a woman can be.
When I think of a strong woman I think of women around me who I love and admire. Women who raise their children with very little time for themselves. I couldn’t stand to be around such toxic behaviour, so I started my journey alone. I lived with friends until I moved in with my real father’s family and at 19, with the help of my dad’s inheritance, I was able to purchase my house and begin my life. I was working as a PA/office manager, however I felt increasingly unhappy and overwhelmed in my position so I stopped that to study within the fitness industry, in the hope that I could help others and work towards a new direction; my passion.
