1 Courgettes
This heat-loving vege can be started by seed or from seedlings, and regular liquid feeds will get it to fruiting size quickly. Courgette plants are normally prolific, but if yours don’t fruit well, it’s likely due to poor pollination. Encourage more bees to the patch or consider hand pollination to fix the issue. Aside from the regular green type, other varieties include those with yellow, grey, striped or ridged skins. Whatever you try, remember to harvest when small as the larger fruit becomes tough and less tasty.
