THE DUCHESS IS HIT WITH MORE FAMILY BACKLASH
SISTERS AT WAR

There’s been a sense of wary anticipation since it was announced four years ago that Samantha Markle was writing a book about her half-sister, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex.

Now that it’s finally been published, Samantha is quick to point out that The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister: Part 1 is not the “slamming tell-all” or the “nasty, evil damning book” people were painting it to be.

However, it does include some eyebrow-raising claims, including the fact that Meghan – according to Samantha – has tried to get their father Thomas Markle to disown Samantha and her brother Tom for speaking publicly about her.

Then there’s the admission that Samantha helped Thomas to set up the fake shots with a photographer that drove a wedge between Thomas and Meghan. Samantha has also described her younger sister as “belittling and controlling”.

And in an interview to promote the book, Samantha says Meghan never wanted her dad to attend her 2018 wedding to Prince Harry because the truth would come out about how much he’d done for her when she was growing up, debunking the impression she’d given that she’d succeeded on her own.
