KITCHEN CLEANING SPRAY

• Water

• 20ml Castile liquid soap

• 10 drops lemon essential oil Fill a 240ml glass spray bottle (available online) with water, soap and lemon essential oil.

If you’re like most people, you probably have kitchen and bathroom cupboards overflowing with sprays, scrubs, disinfectants and wipes. While you may use some or all of them to get your house clean and fresh, there’s a real chance they’re not doing you or your family much good in the long term.

There are more than 80,000 known chemicals in our everyday environment, some of which are thought to cause reproductive, neurological or immune disorders in humans. Luckily, there are some simple and quick steps you can take right away to begin detoxing your home.

NATURAL ROACH REPELLENT

• ½ cup salt

• 500ml water

• ½ teaspoon lavender essential oil

To a 1-litre glass spray bottle, add salt, water and oil.

Spray around areas with cockroaches (it works for small infestations).
