I have seen a massive change in the industry since the first time I came to India. The quality and design of salons have improved—they are more luxurious and modern. The knowledge of the hairdressers has improved massively. Hairdressers here need to take the onus to decide whether the style a client is asking for will suit them or not. The client and hairdresser relationship should be such where the hairdresser genuinely listens to the client and gives the right advice.
