The man in the BMW revved his engine as we both waited for the same parking slot in central London. It was Christmas Eve and very busy.
‘I need that space, I’m running late,’ I muttered. I had last-minute shopping to do, needed to nip to the supermarket for a few bits and pieces for the next day’s big family dinner. My stress levels were through the roof.
Seeing an opening, I shot forward into the empty parking space – but as I squeezed past the man’s BMW, I felt a bump.
Oh no. I’d clipped his car.
I bit my lip as I looked helplessly at the small dent, I’d made in his metalwork.
The man’s face contorted with rage. He leapt out of his BMW and rushed over to my car.
My heart sank as I slowly wound down my window.
The man was red-faced and pointing at me aggressively.
‘I’m so glad you scratched my car,’ he ranted. ‘I’m going to make you pay for all of the damage!’
I was shaking. I was going through a difficult divorce and a car prang was too much to cope with.
‘Stay right there,’ ordered the driver after taking my name and address. ‘I’ll be back with my insurance details.’
‘Please Archangel Michael, help me fix this situation,’ I pleaded silently. ‘I can’t cope with this stress, not on top of everything else.’
Angelic protection
Seconds later the man returned - and it was like talking to a different person.
‘You know what, I’m not going to make you pay,’ he said, smiling at me. ‘It’s Christmas, and I can see that you’re a sweet person. Don’t worry, it’s just a scratch.’
I’d got out of my car to speak to him, and he hugged me briefly. I felt a wave of pure calm - an angelic connection.
The BMW driver added, ‘You have a good day, Kristin.’
The man waved goodbye then drove off. I was speechless for a moment before I said thank you to Archangel Michael.
In all the six years I’d been working with angels, I’d never experienced such a dramatic angelic intervention. I knew at that moment, without any doubt, that angels can protect and help us.
When I was a child, I had heard voices and felt presences in my bedroom. But I blocked communication from the spirit world by refusing to interact with the ‘voices’.
My parents were religious. I was worried that the ‘voices’ were demons, which is why I shut down my gifts.
I wanted to be normal, so I went to university to study law. The course was really intense, and one day, feeling stressed, I booked a massage. After kneading the tension from my body, the masseuse asked if she could try some energy healing.
When I nodded, she hovered her hands above my body. Almost immediately, a comforting feeling of calm washed over me.
‘How did you do that?’ I stammered afterwards. ‘You weren’t even touching me!’
