My maternal instincts kicked in when I found out that I was pregnant.
I love being a mother to Nema, who turns one this month. I’m enjoying the journey. This has been a joyous celebration – from the moment I heard Nema’s heartbeat to holding her in my arms for the first time. I recently saw a tooth peeping from her gums and got excited. Watching her grow is a pleasure.
A year later and I’m still breastfeeding.
Nema’s health and well-being are my highest priorities. So, I breastfeed because it’s good for her. I also enjoy our bonding sessions during feeding time.
