We Married At Pitbauchlie House Hotel Dunfermline
Tie the Knot Scotland|July - August 2017

Staying close to home was important to Donna and Scott when they tied the knot earlier this year.

We Married At Pitbauchlie House Hotel Dunfermline

“Most of our guests live in the Dunfermline area (though we also had friends and family joining us from Newcastle, Dublin, Portsmouth and Glasgow), so finding a venue in the area made sense,” says Donna. “Pitbauchlie House Hotel was ideal for us.”

She and Scott had been to check out a couple of other venues before they visited the country house. “It offered exactly what we were looking for: flexibility in dealing with our numbers, friendly staff , and fresh, modern décor.”

The couple were surrounded by 52 guests during the day, with a further 98 joining them in the evening. “The function space was big enough for a large number of evening guests, but cosy enough for the meal,” notes Donna.

Getting the right date was very important to the pair: “29th April 2017 marked five years to the day that we shared our first date!”

The wedding package included a red-carpet arrival, seat covers with sashes and a personalised table plan.
