Zehra Jagani
Capturing your Big Day with Romance and Femininity
If Zehra had one word to describe her photography style, it would be ‘timeless.’ “I like the idea that one day your grandchildren might look through your wedding photos and gasp at the classic elegance of the bride and groom, and that the couple themselves will look back and remember it like it was yesterday.” With 14 years of professional experience, Zehra believes a female eye can give more attention to detail. “Most of my brides tell me a female photographer is able to capture her in the feminine way she might have envisaged. Women want to be seen as elegant in softer light with complementary angles.” Zehra says it was tough breaking into a male dominated industry. “It took me a very long time to earn respect. It felt like I was at a disadvantage being a female, wearing a headscarf, and for being Asian.”
