ViewSonic is not new to portable projection. Last year we reviewed the stylish looking M1+, and this month we take a look at M2 that brings portability with a focus on picture quality.
ViewSonic is known to give a different spin to projector designs, and the M2 is no different. The M2 resembles an Apple Mac mini but with a dual-tone design. The black and metallic brown finish makes it distinct from other projectors in the market. The clean design means there are no physical controls on the projector, a kickstand at the bottom that allows the projection at various angles and the power and the connectivity ports like the USB Type-C and Type-A, HDMI, audio-out and microSD card slot. Wi-Fi is not built-in, but ViewSonic also bundles a Wi-Fi dongle that can be connected at the bottom of the projector. The projector also comes with a travel bag for it to be carried around.
