Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla is one of the best entries from Ubisoft in ages. It’s got the landscape detail from Unity, only spread out over the whole of England. Stories are considered (and occasionally whacky), quests are detailed and varied and your choice of hero actually undergoes development as the game heads towards its finale.
Let’s pull back. You are Eivor, a Viking driven by an event in your past but mostly you follow the lead of your adoptive brother Sigurd. You’re also Odin (we’re not going to explain that, it makes sense when you see it), kinda. And you’re also Layla Hassan if you care at all about the overarching modern-day plot. There’s a lot going on but Ubi’s title makes it all accessible without being overwhelming. You’ll want to take your time.

Downward Blog - Lenovo Yoga AIO 7
We vaguely scoffed at (but also quite liked) the Sero, Samsung’s crazy vertical TV for millennials that landed last year – but Lenovo’s idea of using a similar concept on a desktop PC makes a massive amount of sense whether you’re a TikTok fanatic, have an aversion to scrolling through blogs, or find yourself regularly navigating very, very long spreadsheets. The all-in-one Yoga AIO 7 doesn’t scrimp on specs either.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla (for PC): Another Winner
The Assassin’s Creed series has taken us to numerous historical settings since its 2007 debut, including Ancient Greece, Renaissance Italy, and Revolutionary War-era America. The newest installment, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, details the Viking invasion of 9th Century England from the perspective of history’s most notorious raiders. Though Valhalla doesn’t introduce anything wholly new to the series, it’s an excellent PC game that follows in the footsteps of its equally exceptional predecessors, Origins and Odyssey.
