A refreshing game
Stuff India|July 2021
Aimed squarely at active gamers, the Optoma UHD33 is one of the first projectors to serve up a 240Hz refresh rate. Interested much?

₹1,99,990 / optoma.com

Before you get your undies in a twist, we admit, it does 240Hz at 1080p and not 4K, it’s preferred resolution for movie projection. But still, a 3600 lumens brightness rating and an “Enhanced” gaming mode, it makes a strong case for big-screen action.

It comes with HDR10 support, 8-segment colour wheel (RGBWRGBW), Rec 709 colour space coverage and a whole host of colour management options. Optoma manages HDR well and on the UHD33, the HDR mode really helps to bring out finer details in the highlights.

Hulu: A Top Streaming Choice

As the competition between video-streaming services intensifies, differentiation is ever-important. Hulu continues to offer both a strong on-demand streaming library and a robust live TV option. The service is an excellent option for watching popular TV shows, and we like its broad platform support, even if Hulu’s original series are hit-or-miss. On the live TV front, Hulu’s channel coverage is top-notch, and its DVR features compare well to the competition’s. Despite a few missteps, Hulu keeps its Editors’ Choice award, because no other service can quite match its combination of streaming content.
