There’s another Doom movie coming – though we’d struggle to explain why…
Universal Pictures has announced just the movie we’ve all been waiting for – another cinematic adaptation of Doom, but this time with a tiny budget and a cast of unknowns!
Due to release this year, Doom: Annihilation declines to follow directly in the footsteps of 2005’s Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson-starring effort (titled simply Doom), ditching that film’s genetic-engineering-gone-wrong plotline in favour a structure more true to the games. So that means a Mars research base gone dark, a team of marines sent to investigate and, wouldn’t you know it, a portal to Hell.
