JBL’s Flip 6 is designed to be taken anywhere including to the beach or the pool, with an IP67 water and dust–proof rating that means it can be immersed in water up to 3 feet with no ill effects. It charges over USB–C and a cable is provided in the box, plus there’s a warning that sounds if you try to charge it when there’s water in the charging port. Charging is a relatively slow 2.5 hours to full, but this does provide a solid 12 hours of playback and there’s a backlit meter on the body to show you its current charge level.
