Before Your Eyes - a short first-person narrative game where blinking is the key mechanic - is quite unlike any you are likely to play again.
As the game opens, you are fished out of a murky ocean by an anthropomorphic hound, a ferryman of the afterlife who explains human souls' life stories to the grand Gatekeeper, who will then decide if they can be let into paradise. To help him out, you need to recount all of your past from start to finish.
And so you relive life through the eyes of Benjamin, a young toddler whose first memory is set on an idyllic beach in summer. When an object of interest appears, an eye icon appears over it. Align your mouse pointer over the eye, blink, then watch as more of the story is revealed.
