GOT QUESTIONS ON 2020 BOWMAN CHROME BASEBALL?

2020 Bowman Chrome Baseball is kind of like the sequel to 2020 Bowman Baseball, at least when it comes to the shiny stuff. Prospects remain the primary focus on the checklist with rookies playing second. As far as card types, it’s chrome so the staples of Refractors and autographs return as well.

Boxes come in two types. Regular hobby boxes, which are done as a pair of mini boxes, have two autographs. Abbreviated HTA boxes are back as well. These have just three cards in total. All have signatures, though.

The base set is an abbreviated 100 cards highlighting vets and rookies. All have several parallels including:

• Refractors (/499)

• Purple Refractors (/250)

• Blue Refractors (/150)

• Green Refractors (/99)

• Gold Refractors (/50)

• Orange Refractors (/25)

• Red Refractors (/5)

• Superfractors (1/1)

Select rookies also have SP Image Variations that have a different photo on the front. Parallels for these include Autographs (/25) and Autograph Superfractor (1/1).

There’s also another 100 Chrome Prospects. These carry a similar design as the base set but it’s numbered separately. Players here are a mix of youngsters coming up through the minor league ranks.

The prospect parallel rainbow is even bigger here. They have all eight of the Refractors that the base set has. There are also a handful of Shimmer versions:

• Chrome Shimmer – 1:12 packs
