I am at Pennyhill Park for the weekend – a five-star resort with spa, tennis courts, pools, conference facilities and a Michelin starred restaurant. Amazing conference and corporate facilities and guests are properly pampered.
So what?
Well, I had a look at the beautifully manicured rugby training pitch and the state-of-the-art indoor training facility tailor-made for the England Elite Rugby team, which is set amongst the hotel’s beautiful mature woodland with landscaped gardens (and nine-hole golf course).
And it got me wondering – as well as the great outdoor pitch, the 2,700 square metres facility a 40m by 40m artificial indoor pitch area and an incredibly well equipped gym with physio suite and all the mod cons. Wow. Complete with the obligatory Red Rose branding.
