WHO IS...
ADAM BRAYTON
This 33-year-old downhill racer was catapulted to prominence after his first World Cup in 2006 with banger sections in Earthed 5 and DirtTV’s Finally 2. ‘Mr Gas to Flat’ is best known for going huge, taking risks and his aggressive riding style. He’s notorious for his toughness and has one of the most brutal training regimes in DH. Despite this, the ‘Keswick Kestrel’ always has a cheeky smile on his face and is a big pits prankster.
WHAT ARE YOU UP TO IN 2022?
Living the privateer life, thanks to my sponsors Nukeproof, Hope, Bliss, SDG, Fenwick’s, Crud, Bell and CushCore. Got to get the plug in somewhere!
WHAT’S A TYPICAL DAY?
A session at Fit4Racing followed by a day fishing on the lake, trying to recover and feeling like I’m on the verge of falling into a coma.
WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY?
Waking up and making a coffee. I love that little routine. I try to keep my life very simple.
WHERE DO YOU CALL HOME?
Keswick in the Lakes. The riding is terrible – don’t bother coming!
