Husqvarna's history stretches back to 1689, when the company was founded in the town of the same name to produce muskets for the Swedish Army. They began producing motorcycles in 1903, went on to dominate the off-road race scene of the 1960s and now make everything from enduro, motocross and supermoto machines to street and touring bikes. In 2018 they added electric bicycles to their line-up and now sell everything from e-hardtails to pedal-assist DH bikes.
Their eMTBs are a rare sight on these shores, though, so we were intrigued when we heard that pro coach - and regular MBUK 'how to contributor Alan Milway was riding one for 2022. "We were introduced through a mutual friend in the industry, who recommended the bikes to me," he explains. "They're an amazing company with a heritage in motocross - another sport I work in - so it's a great fit."
