Perched high up in the hills on Ilkley Moor in North Yorkshire, this extremely pretty parkland nine-holer is blessed with wonderful long-range vistas over the valley and beyond. It opens with a short par 5 – that becomes a tough par 4 as the 10th – and there’s then an even mix of par 4s and short holes. Run by the members and operating from an honesty box when the clubhouse is closed, this is fun golf at a bargain price.
