With the Coronavirus pandemic throw-ing everything including the cricket-ing calendar out of gear, fans have been eagerly waiting for any possible hint over when their favorite sport would resume. In the last month or so, the debate in cricketing circles has been whether the glamorous domestic T20 competition, the Indian Premier League (IPL), or the T20 World Cup should go ahead. IPL 2020 was initially scheduled to be held in March-April but had to be postponed indefinitely due to the unforeseen COVID-19. It has now come down to a choice between the two. In case of the T20 World Cup scheduled to be held in Australia in October November is postponed, BCCI will have a window to host the IPL during the same period.
