The disruption to the IPL 2020’s business end came not from the Indian Premier League staging itself in the UAE but rather by the furore caused over the selection of the Indian cricket team for the tour of Australia. Rohit Sharma’s hamstring tear situation became perplexing as the Indian selectors left him out of the squad only to include him at a time when it was all but sure that Rohit was going to show up for the Mumbai Indians lifting their fifth trophy.
