The 2021 edition of the IPL has entered its third week. Over the last couple of weeks, there have been some impressive as well as disappointing performances. Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Delhi Capitals (DC) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have been among the top-performing sides in the IPL, with four wins in five matches. Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), on the other hand, have been the most disappointing sides, with only one victory from five games. Looking at the performances so far, we pick one-star player each franchise should release after this season.

KKR – PAT CUMMINS

Pat Cummins has played one unbelievable knock with the bat. However, his bowling, for which he was hired at a mammoth price last season, has just not been up to the mark. Last year, he claimed 12 wickets in 14 matches at a strike rate of 26. It could have been even worse had Cummins not picked up his game towards the end of the season. This year too, he has managed only nine wickets in seven matches so far at a strike rate of nearly 18 and an economy rate of over 8.

India-Pakistan Combined T20I XI Of Current Players

The two Asian giants only play against each other in ICC events or multi-team events like the Asia Cup. Both teams have met 8 times in T20I cricket, with India winning 7 of them, including the most recent one in 2016. While India are currently second in the T20I rankings, Pakistan are fourth. Nevertheless, players from both India and Pakistan continue being part of fantasy teams of fans on both sides of the border.
