The 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) saw newcomers Gujarat Titans win the trophy as they overcame Rajasthan Royals in a one-sided contest at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. GT were top-notch throughout the season and delivered the goods under skipper Hardik Pandya. The 10-team IPL 2022 season was solid, with some exciting cricket coming to the fore. MOST RUNS CONCEDED IN AN IPL SEASON
RR pacer Prasidh Krishna was a notable figure for the Sanju Samson-led side in IPL 2022. The former KKR bowler finished the season with a tally of 19 scalps from 17 games at 29.00. He had an economy rate of 8.28. The right-arm pacer bowled the most dot balls in the IPL 2022 season, tallying a figure of 200. It's the second-most in an IPL edition. However, he also went on to concede a total of 551 runs. This was the most by a bowler in IPL 2022. He went past the tally of Kagiso Rabada, who gave away 548 runs in the IPL 2020 season. As per ESPNcricinfo, Prasidh now holds the record for most runs conceded by a bowler in an edition of IPL.
